After a lot of planning, coordination, and design development, we were thrilled to unveil the mazes at Ball State University. This seemed like a perfect synergy for Drew and Colin's alma mater, who have a unique responsibility running Muncie Community Schools. Our initial connection is with the American Institute of Architecture Students chapter at the College of Architecture and Planning (CAP), who plan to engage local schools to create mazes of their own to connect with students and develop portfolio-worthy designs of their own. The fascinating opportunity is that BSU also has a well respected College of Education that's only a few hundred feet from the maze, so the opportunity for inter-college collaboration is really exciting.
This was also our first time installing an interior tape maze, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result, which incorporates the CAP logo and is a focal point in the main building atrium.
